About the project

Data technology team is located inside IT structures with mission to enable and popularize data consumption across whole company. Dynamically changing retail industry make fast, accurate and data driven decision one of the most important competitive advantage. Specific of our job requires acting as a link between technology and business in various areas concerning data products. Our actions affects not only local data community but also global teams with which we cooperate on a daily basis. Projects portfolio consist of typical technological projects as well as coordination of knowledge governance initiatives.

ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter)

Business Intelligence tools (Qlik Sense, SAP Business Objects)

Database administration (Teradata Vantage)

Cloud database systems (e.g. Azure, Google BigQuery)

SAP HANA, S/4HANA

Integration and file processing servers (Shell scripting)

Your responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain data flows (Batch/Real time) to address business requirements and enable data consumption

• Develop and manage data models across all levels: physical (Data Warehouse), logical (Business Intelligence stack), mixed (self-service tools)

• Provide support to end users as a response to incidents reported and inside local competence center around data products

• Cooperate with global Data Technology team on international projects

Our requirements

• at least 2 year of relevant work experience in Data Warehousing and ETL projects

• strong SQL programming skills

• knowledge of database management systems e.g. Teradata

• analytical skills and problem solving abilities

• capacity to work under pressure and with considerable autonomy

• good command in English (as a means of communication with end-users and management)

• experience in reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects, Qlik Sense or similar will be valued
